With the advancement of the marketization process, inventory management has transformed from a single backup protection function to an essential function for enterprises, which helps to survive and develop. Inventory control in supply chain management is the important content of supply chain management. The new management mode makes inventory management present many new characteristics and problems compared with traditional inventory management. From the view of system theory and integration theory, it is imperative to re-examine the problem of inventory control, put forward new inventory management strategies adapted to integrated supply chain management, and improve the integration of the whole supply chain, which can enhance the agility and market response speed of enterprises. Based on the in-depth study of the joint inventory management model, this paper analyzed the current situation of the joint inventory management to optimize the inventory. In view of the achievements and shortcomings of the current research, a more systematic and improved optimization model of the supply chain inventory was proposed by using the basic ideas of ant colony algorithm and fuzzy model

At present, the high energy consumption of data centers based on grid power supply not only brings huge direct cost of electricity, but also indirectly produces a lot of greenhouse gases, which affects the natural environment. Academia and industry are beginning to introduce clean renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power into data centers to reduce operating costs and environmental damage by building new green data centers. To solve this problem, this study considers the use of waste heat for refrigeration while taking natural gas power generation into account, and introduces wind energy as a green energy source. On the premise of considering the response level of data centers, the two resources are combined and deployed to improve resource utilization and reduce energy consumption costs. Aiming at the instability of wind power generation, a particle swarm energy scheduling optimization algorithm based on simulated annealing algorithm was proposed by combining simulated annealing algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm. The research shows that, considering the response level of data centers, the use of natural gas and wind energy as the main energy supply can effectively reduce the overall energy consumption of data centers

Synthesis and Biological Activities of a 3′-Azido Analogue of Doxorubicin Against Drug-Resistant Cancer Cells

Doxorubicin (DOX), an anthracycline antibiotic, is one of the most active anticancer chemotherapeutic agents. The clinical use of DOX, however, is limited by the dose-dependant P-glycoprotein (P-gp)-mediated resistance. Herein, a 3′-azido analogue of DOX (ADOX) was prepared from daunorubicin (DNR). ADOX exhibited potent antitumor activities in drug-sensitive (MCF-7 and K562) and drug-resistant cell lines (MCF-7/DNR, K562/DOX), respectively. The drug resistance index (DRI) values of ADOX were much lower than that of DOX. The cytotoxicity experiments of ADOX or DOX against K562/DOX, with or without P-gp inhibitor, indicated that ADOX circumvents resistance by abolishing the P-gp recognition. This conclusion was further supported by drug influx/efflux flow cytometry experiments, as well as by molecular docking of ADOX to P-gp. In vivo animal tests, ADOX exhibited higher activity and less toxicity than DOX. The current data warranted ADOX for additional pre-clinical evaluations for new drug development

Direction-of-arrival estimation in the presence of unknown nonuniform noise fields

A new method for estimating directions-of-arrival (DOA) of multiple spatial narrowband signals in the presence of spatially nonuniform independent sensor noise with unknown covariance is presented. An estimate of the colored noise-covariance matrix is given first. The received data for parameter estimation is then prewhitened using the estimated noise covariance, hence, overcoming the highly biased estimates. Furthermore, the performance improvement of standard MUSIC method is confirmed by computer simulations. © 2006 IEEE

Research on the evolution of express packaging recycling strategy considering virtual incentives and heterogeneous subsidies

Abstract With the growth of e-commerce business volume, a large amount of express packaging waste is generated, causing certain damage to the environment. In response to this problem, the China Post Bureau pointed out the plan to strengthen express packaging recycling, and large e-commerce platforms such as JD.com have taken actions. Starting from this background, this paper uses a tripartite evolutionary game model to study the strategies evolution of consumers, e-commerce companies and e-commerce platforms. At the same time, the model considers the influence of platform virtual incentives and heterogeneous subsidies on equilibrium evolution. The study found that with the increase of virtual incentives from the platform to consumers, consumers converge to the strategy of "participating" in express packaging recycling faster and faster. When the assumption of participation constraints for cosumers is relaxed, the virtual incentives of the platform are still effective, but it will be affected by the initial willingness of consumers; when the e-commerce platform uses a single method to subsidize, it can effectively encourage e-commerce companies to use green packaging items. Compared with direct subsidize, the policy flexibility of the discount coefficient is stronger, in addition, moderate double subsidies can also achieve the same effect, and the e-commerce platform can make decisions based on the actual situation. The cyclical fluctuations in the strategies of consumers and e-commerce companies in the case of high additional profit coefficients of e-commerce companies may be the reason why the current express packaging recycling program is not effective. In addition, this article also discusses the influence of other parameters on the equilibrium evolution, and gives targeted countermeasures

Decision-Making Optimization of Risk-Seeking Retailer Managed Inventory Model in a Water Supply Chain

    No full text
Water retailer managed inventory is a classical and inevitable inventory management mode in present economic society. Stochastic models can more clearly explain demand uncertainty and are closely related to water supply chains. Risk preferences are widely valued in behavioral operation management. Related to the risk preferences in inventory management, the research on risk aversion is dominant, while risk-seeking is insufficient. Based on the model assumptions, the risk-seeking retailer’s optimal decision-making inventory model with stochastic demand in a water supply chain is studied. The risk-seeking retailer’s optimal inventory quantity, optimal inventory cost, supplier profit, retailer profit, and the profit of the entire water supply chain are derived. The validity of the equations is proved. The sensitivity analysis of the risk-seeking retailer’s optimal inventory decision-making is carried out. The risk level effects on the five dimensions, the retail price, wholesale price, unit shortage cost, unit inventory cost, and unit residual value, are displayed through numerical simulation. The optimal inventory quantity and optimal inventory cost of the risk-seeking retailer are obtained

Using the panel vector autoregressive (PVAR) model accompanied by the system-generalized method of moment (System-GMM) approach, this paper investigates the dynamic causality between participation in global value chains (GVCs), renewable energy consumption and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions throughout 1990–2015 for 172 countries. The results show that participation in GVCs negatively causes renewable energy consumption except for the Middle East and North America (MENA) and sub-Saharan Africa. Second, except for the Asia–Pacific region and globally, participation in GVCs has no causal impact on CO2 emissions, and participation in GVCs has a positive effect on CO2 emissions in the Asia–Pacific region and globally. Third, except for globally and sub-Saharan Africa, CO2 emissions have no causal impact on participation in GVCs; however, CO2 emissions hurt participation in GVCs globally and in the sub-Saharan African region. Forth, renewable energy consumption positively causes participation in GVCs in MENA, while renewable energy consumption does not cause participation in GVCs globally and in other regions. Fifth, there is no causality between CO2 emissions and renewable energy consumption both at the global and regional levels. Several policy implications are proposed and discussed for promoting participation in GVCs and improving the environment

Research on the Evolution of the Express Packaging Recycling Strategy, Considering Government Subsidies and Synergy Benefits

With the year-on-year growth of e-commerce transactions and the increasing popularity of the concept of ecological civilization, the waste and recycling of express packages have aroused widespread discussion and attention. On the issue of express package recycling, how consumers, e-commerce enterprises, and e-commerce platforms choose their own strategies, how to better promote the recycling of express packages, and what is the effect mechanism of government subsidies on different players. These are the questions that this article wants to answer. Since this article involves many stakeholders, in order to better identify the strategic choice and evolution of different entities and to better study the influence of government subsidies on the strategic choice of game players, this article uses two triparty evolutionary game models. The results show that without subsidies, changes in the rate of return and the initial probability will affect the evolution of the equilibrium strategy, while the synergistic benefits will have a corrective effect in some cases; when government subsidies are included and the probability of the three parties choosing “green strategies” is relatively low, subsidies should be paid to e-commerce companies mainly; lower subsidies can only provide incentives for e-commerce platforms. This article can provide certain references and value for government policymakers
